Michael Melon’s book Yet You Would Not Return To Me: Prophetically Speaking In An Age Of Terror (Xulon Press) deals with the minor prophets, particularly in their role of proclaiming God’s judgment on the nation. In the book (a portion of which previously appeared as an article in Preaching), Melon cautions religious leaders from becoming too closely aligned with any political movement.
