Abraham Kuruvilla of Dallas Theological Seminary is the author of an important new book Privilege the Text! A Theological Hermeneutic for Preaching (Moody). We’ll be including a more complete review in an upcoming issue of Preaching magazine, but for now let’s just say the book uses solid theological insight to link hermeneutics to homiletics and help preachers grasp and then communicate the key ideas of a biblical text.
