A camera outside a home in Kendall, Fla., videoed a burglar using a Bible to set a car on fire. Local news reports say the man started to use a lighter to give himself a small amount of light. He used the lighter repeatedly to find out if there was anything worth stealing in the car. It appears he got angry and decided to torch the car. He used a Bible in the car, ignited it with the lighter and set the car on fire. This was a crime in two ways. Not only was it vandalism, but it was a poor use of a Bible. Perhaps he should have read it.
