As you read these words, I’ll be with my family on a trip to Alaska. With sons who are now 15 and 19, we recognize they won’t be with us many more years, and we want to have time to make those memories together while we can.

What about you—what memories would you like to make in the weeks and months ahead? What we don’t plan rarely happens, so think now about the memories you can make now that will mean much to you in the future.

Is it creating some special moments with your family? A writing project you’ve been hoping to complete? Finding a time to connect with old friends who meant much to you? What’s the memory you’d like to make?

With the change of pace summer often brings, this is a good time for all of us to try something different. Don’t let this summer get away from you before you’ve made some special memories of your own!

Blessings!
