There is a huge underground cavern in Louisville, Ky., that has an interesting history. It is called Mega Cavern and began as a limestone mine. Because of supporting structures, it actually is considered a building—the largest in Kentucky. During the cold war, it was designated as a fallout shelter. Now it is being used as a business and storage space. There are also tourist attractions: a tram ride, zip-line, ropes course and mountain biking area. It went from mine, to quarry, to fallout shelter, to tourist attraction.
Things can and do change. The Bible says it's possible to turn swords into plowshares.
