According to Mental Floss magazine, there is huge mansion in the Bronx with an unusual purpose. “It is called Chapel Hill. It has a chandelier from the Plaza Hotel, a fireplace made to look like one from the White House and many other amenities. The builder was Genevieve Griscom. Though wealthy, Griscom lived in a shack on the property and took care of the mansion.

What was the purpose? It was to be a home for Jesus when He came back. While theosophy has many quasi-Christian ideas and nontraditional doctrines, they were adamant about the second coming of Jesus. The home was devoted for Him to live in when He comes back. That may be a nice gesture, but it is far more important that He lives in us.
