Lyma of the Cincinnati Enquirer wrote about Reba Riley who wrote a book titled Post-Traumatic Church Syndrome. Riley became disenchanted with church. She walked away from church but learned something was missing from her life. She decided to try 30 religious traditions, including Amish, Mormonism, Episcopalian, Jewish, Buddhism and Native American traditions. You can read the book yourself and decide whether you can affirm all or some aspects of her conclusion. In the end, however, we can say that she did find her way to God. She told the reporter, “I am living a very God-filled life right now. Love God; love people. If I figure those two things out, I’ll get back to everything else.”
