The Bible is the Bible. The Words of God preserved for us through the ages to give us all things necessary for salvation and living a life of faith that is pleasing to God. How the Scripture is printed, bound, and presented to us, however, is a completely different story. Printed on 100% waterproof YUPO Synthetic Paper , these pages can thoroughly withstand the elements. Yes, we are talking rain, sleet, snow, ice. Whatever you can throw at it, it can take it. Even a few drops of rain on my non-water proof Bible will cause the pages to wrinkle enough that I notice it every time. That just won’t happen with these water proof Bibles. But what if you drop it in the lake, the river, or the ocean? Here’s the good news you’ve been waiting for…it floats!

In all seriousness, this is a great product! I am thoroughly impressed with the readability of the text. I had my doubt before the sample arrived, wondering what a waterproof Bible would look and feel like, but now those doubts are gone. It is a joy to hold, read, and carry with me.
