Hawaii now has a spot that’s out of this world—at least they hope so.
An 80-foot UFO landing pad officially has been opened in Hawaii.
The Hawaii Star Visitor Sanctuary, an 80-foot UFO landing pad, recently was dedicated in Kalapana, Hawaii, as only the second location in the world officially dedicated to the purpose of inviting extraterrestrials to Earth. (The first was dedicated in 1967 in the city of St Paul, Alberta, Canada.)
According to a report in the UK Daily Mirror, “Locals held a cleansing, purifying and dedication ceremony on the site, which was naturally formed by lava near Uncle Robert’s Kava Bar.”
Garry Hoffeld, assistant to the bar’s owner, said: “We’re not crazy, we’re open-minded.”
