The purse of an 81-year-old woman in Mount Pocono, Pa., was stolen—and she proceeded to chase down the robbers and ram their car with her own vehicle, enabling police to catch the thieves.
The suspects, a 34-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, apparently saw the woman had cash at a local pharmacy. So, after she got in her car, one began talking to her through an open window, and the other grabbed her purse. As they got in their car to flee, the 81-year-old chased them and hit their car. The resulting damage enabled police to locate and apprehend the robbers.
The lesson for would-be thieves: Pick on someone your own age.
