An 89-year-old storekeeper in Moses Lake, Wash., wasn’t about to take anything from a would-be robber. So after she refused to open the cash register and the robber pushed her down, she grabbed a golf club and gave him a swat.
It wasn’t your usual robbery, because police report the attacker was carrying a 3-foot-long sword. The storekeeper was unhurt, and police recovered the cash register that was taken from Frank’s Superette.
