A 50-year-old man who worked at a Chick-fil-A restaurant near Rock Hill, S.C., has been accused of stealing $516 from a nearby KFC.

According to a June 26, 2014, AP story, police say he “pulled a gun at the drive-thru at KFC and demanded cash.” The robber was arrested after a chase with the cash drawer still in his vehicle.

He’s charged with armed robbery, possession of a gun during a violent crime, failure to stop for police and possession of methamphetamine.

A Chick-fil-A spokesman told the local newspaper the man had been fired from his restaurant when he failed to show up to work two consecutive days.
