Crime does not always pay, especially when you take your picture with the loot.

Two culprits were arrested in Houston after taking selfies on a stolen iPad as they displayed stolen money. What they apparently didn’t realize was that the iPad was connecting to WiFi in a nearby Starbucks and uploading their photos to the owner’s iCloud account.

According to a Jan. 22, 2015, AP story, “The iPad, other electronics and thousands of dollars were stolen from the victim's truck Jan. 8. He later noticed his iCloud account had images of the men holding $100 bills. Investigators arrested the pair on theft charges.”
