Sometimes you just have to pretend.

Take Kimberly, for instance. She wanted to be a lawyer, but didn’t want to deal with all those messy law school classes, student debt and years of preparation. So she pretended.

The James Creek, Penn., resident allegedly printed her own law license and bar exam results, according to the April 18, 2015, issue of World. She was apparently a pretty good pretender: She ended up doing estate planning for a decade with approximately 30 clients, as well as became a partner at her law firm.

Alas, the pretending has ended. Police have arrested and charged her with forgery and unauthorized practice of law.

I’m assuming she’s getting a real attorney.
