One meaning of peace is “freedom from turmoil and war.” One definition of turmoil is “a confused or agitated state.” In other words, peace is freedom or to be released from turmoil, confusion, agitation, hostility and conflict…in Jesus’ name.

In order for our freedom to release us from turmoil, confusion, agitation, hostility and conflict…in Jesus’ name, we must hold our own individual speech before we speak, to be kept away in the other direction that’s not toward wickedness, slander or injurious actions and words. This connects our individual mouths, which represent our speech prior to speaking, with the ability to keep away and go in the direction opposite of uttering, proclaiming, confessing or bringing forth from our mouths the speech before we spoke that which represents deceitful, dishonest, misleading and untrustworthy words that often are harmful.

Furthermore, separate personally, or go away in another direction personally, with and without speaking, to represent the opposite of wickedness, slanderous or injurious actions and words in addition to our actions, or the way we carry ourselves to represent righteousness, kindness, goodness, positives, growth, increase, helpfulness and love without unselfishness. Also, we must search prayerfully to make right decisions for freedom or to be released from turmoil, confusion, agitation, hostility and conflicts…in Jesus’ name. To go a little further, we must follow after, move forward with, obtain, accomplish, proceed along with and engage in freedom and the release from turmoil, confusion, agitation, hostility or conflict…in Jesus’ name.

To illustrate this truth from Scripture, go to Psalm 34:13-14: “Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.”

Seeking and pursuing our freedom from turmoil, confusion, agitation, hostility or conflict…in Jesus’ name requires us to realize our speech before we speak comes through an area that’s not so big as we speak, but is able to bring forth, proclaim and announce awesome, major, powerful and wonderful accomplishments, events and actions. I believe it is a good idea for us to choose our words carefully, to be slow to speak, because bringing forth, proclaiming and announcing awesome, major, powerful and wonderful accomplishments, events and actions coming through an area that’s not so big as we speak, can burn, hurt, spread thin, and consume some folks.

In addition, our individual speech before we speak exists with burning, hurting, spreading thin or consuming abilities within our internal atmosphere can be connected to sin, unrighteousness and wrongdoing. In other words, our individual burning, hurting, spreading thin or consuming speech before we speak is connected to and exists in the midst of our own walking, thinking, running, working, training and functioning capabilities because our individual burning, hurting, spreading thin and consuming speech before we speak capabilities can curse our individual abilities to travel on foot, to think positively and believe, to sprint or jog, to earn a living without loosing our souls, to keep our homes clean and in order, to be taught and/or receive orders and duties in order for us to succeed, or dwell on this earth in almost any situation and circumstance with sound minds without fear, stress and anger. Furthermore, these curses on our abilities establish our own individual burning, hurting, spreading thin and consuming speech before we speak capabilities that also will curse our own natural personal athletic, spiritual, mental, educational, financial, peacemaking, familial and physical abilities because our own individual burning, hurting, spreading thin and consuming speech before we speak abilities is connected to the dwelling place where evil, wickedness, sin, hatred, jealousy, wrath, bitterness, fornication, adultery and wrongdoing exist.

To illustrate this truth from Scripture, go to James 3:5-6: “Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth. And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.”

To go even further, our own individual burning, hurting, spreading thin and consuming speech before we speak abilities has power that a man or woman isn’t able to keep under control alone because our own individual burning, hurting, spreading thin and consuming speech before we speak abilities exist without boundaries as being wicked, hurtful, sinful, devastated or ignorant that’s loaded with and represents harmful words that are meant to cause harm.

With the same individual burning, hurting, spreading thin and consuming speech before we speak capabilities, we actually speak out of our mouths the goodness of our Father God Almighty in heaven; we praise His holy name, the holy One who sits on the throne in heaven, who created heaven and earth, for which we give God all the praise and glory…in Jesus’ name. Also, with the same individual burning, hurting, spreading thin or consuming speech before we speak capabilities, we actually speak out of our mouths harmful, devastating, breaking down, evil, wicked and negative words toward people on this earth who we could see, who were made and created in God almighty’s likeness and image…in Jesus’ name.

In other words, from our own individual burning, spreading thin, hurting or consuming speech before we speak capabilities, which is brought forth by our lips, bring forth happiness, joy, life, prosperity, wealth, love and success, plus sadness, wickedness, sorrow, death, poverty, failures, lack, demotion, problems or evil. As an individual who is born again, who received the Lord Jesus as his or her own personal Lord and Savior, is considered part of the family of God by faith, which the representation of good and evil, heaven and hell, positive and negative, should not be represented and spoken out of the same mouth.

To illustrate this truth from Scripture, go to James 3:8-10: “But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceeded blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so be.”

As you can see from biblical principles, our speech is the byproduct of what we’ve chosen to do with the Word of God from heaven and can determine the peace that we have. Remember, Jesus came to earth to bring and spread peace on this earth, but He also came that the Word of God would be flesh. Also remember, the Word of God is like a double-edged sword, able to cut asunder.

To illustrate this truth from Scripture, go to Matthew 10:34: “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.”

Whoever, whenever, wherever there is turmoil, war, confusion, agitation, hostility and conflict, you don’t have to look for or search for freedom and the releasing of turmoil, war, confusion, agitation, hostility or conflict from any outside sources because our freedom exists within the inner man or woman in whom the Holy Spirit has come to reside.

To illustrate this truth from Scripture, go to John 20:19: “Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.”

I believe it is a good idea for us to choose our words carefully, to be slow to speak because our speech can determine our current and future peace. In addition, let the Sword of God, the Word of God, be the deciding choice for the words we speak and represent with Holy Spirit power, dominion and authority over our thoughts and language.
