Many pastors spend a significant amount of time preparing for and participating in weddings, funerals, and other special occasions at which they preside. Kregel has released an outstanding new resource, A Contemporary Handbook for Weddings & Funerals and Other Occasions, which will be a valuable tool for busy pastors. The volume is edited by Aubrey Malphurs and Keith Willhite; Malphurs teaches at Dallas Seminary, as did Willhite before his death earlier this year. This useful tool will find a valued place on the shelves of pastors everywhere – although it’s not likely to sit on that shelf for any length of time. It’s something to which you’ll refer regularly.
