Sorry if it seems like Baker Books week, but the publisher has also recently released two more volumes in its Paideia Commentaries on the New Testament: Acts by Mikeal Parsons and Hebrews by James Thompson. This series is aimed at students studying the theological issues in the biblical text, and it deals with the text in “rhetorical units” rather than verse-by-verse, but preachers will find helpful insights in these volumes as they do their own expositional studies.
