His latest release is Preaching Christ from Daniel (Eerdmans), and it is an outstanding tool for anyone preaching from this Old Testament book. Each chapter contains helpful resources for building expository sermons, including context, themes and goals of each literary unit; links between Daniel and the New Testament; ideas for ways to formulate your sermon theme and goal; and suggestions for contemporary application of the biblical text. This book deserves a spot on any preacher’s bookshelf.
