Although consisting of 66 books, the Bible is a single story. In Telling God’s Story: The Biblical Narrative From Beginning to End (B&H Academic), Preben Vang and Terry G. Carter demonstrate the Bible is one grand narrative and, in the process, help readers better understand the major themes and sections of Scripture. This would be an excellent book for a serious study in a local church, as well as a useful text for college classes.
