While we’re talking about Tim Keller, pastors who haven’t already read it will want to get a copy of his book The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism (Dutton). As a pastor in New York City, he encounters many people skeptical about Christianity, and in this valuable book he deals with the kinds of questions they ask and provides a compelling defense of the faith. I certainly could see this providing helpful resource material for sermon series or small groups dealing with apologetics issues.
