Apparently Phoenix police are remarkably patient.
According to an Oct. 27 UPI story, Phoenix police were pursuing a suspect with an outstanding warrant in a “low-speed chase” when the suspect pulled his truck into the drive-thru of an In-N-Out Burger. Officers apparently waited as the suspect ordered his food, then exited the parking lot.
The news report said: “He then drove to a nearby neighborhood and walked into the backyard where he surrendered to officers.”
The story did not indicate if he ordered burgers for the officers.
