The
Associated Press recently released a story about a pair of sisters in Tokyo,
Japan that became concerned that something was wrong with their father.  They
reported him missing.  The police found the man and something was definitely
wrong.  The man was dead-his body lying on a couch.  The tragic twist to this
was that the man had been dead for ten years!  One can only question the tragedies
or difficulties that caused a family to miss their father only after he had
been dead for ten years.  A story like this surely motivates us to heal the
rifts that may exist in our families and to keep close to those we care about.
