A dying man who was living in great fear of death asked his minister if he knew exactly what heaven was like. The minister replied that he did not know exactly what heaven’s like. The sick man replied, “Then what good are you, and what kind of minister are you?”

The minister replied, “Let me put it this way. I have a faithful dog. He would follow me anywhere. He would go into a room with gladness, even if he never had been in that room before, simply because I am there. I don’t know specifically what heaven will be like, but I know my Master is there. So when the time comes, I will enter the room with no fear, only gladness.”
