At a Native American pueblo in the western United States, they have an interesting Christmas custom. After midnight service on Christmas Eve, one family takes the baby from the nativity scene and takes the Christ child home. They keep it for the 12 days of Christmas. What a thought! They take the Christ child home with them!

A third generation preacher, Mike Shannon is Professor of Preaching at Cincinnati Bible Seminary of Cincinnati Christian University. He has served as a preaching minister, church planter, and college professor. His most recent preaching ministry was at the historic First Christian Church of Johnson City, Tennessee.
