Accompanying the Queen of England at the “Trooping of the Colors” is His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent. He is an aide to the Queen, a colonel in the Scots Guard and a major general. He is officially a supernumerary, which means essentially he is a major general of nothing. This is not true of Jesus. He is truly the King of kings. Though some refuse to acknowledge Him now, the time is coming when every knee shall bow.

A third generation preacher, Mike Shannon is Professor of Preaching at Cincinnati Bible Seminary of Cincinnati Christian University. He has served as a preaching minister, church planter, and college professor. His most recent preaching ministry was at the historic First Christian Church of Johnson City, Tennessee. In his nearly two decades at Cincinnati Christian University, Mike has served as both professor and Dean of the Seminary.
