In northern Kenya, human footprints the of a man’s shoe size 9 have been found. The footprints are said to be 1.5 million years old. There is a sense in which Jesus left His footprints on the earth. They lead to Nazareth where He grew up, to the Jordan River where He was baptized, and to Golgotha where He died. Most importantly they lead from the tomb where He was buried.
