Robert Shannon tells a story that really happened in Kingston, Jamaica. Two Christian men were out visiting and invited a man to attend worship services. He said he would but he had no shoes. One of the men immediately took off his own shoes and gave them to the man, then he walked back home barefoot—two and a half miles. On Sunday, both were in church—a visitor with a new pair of shoes and his inviter with an older pair.
