Gloria Jahoda dedicated her book River of the Golden Ibis to Nigel Coxe, in token of a gift of music; to Ella Grainger, in token of a gift of memory; and to Steward Manville and Ralph Stant, in token of a gift of faith. Every one of us owes a debt to the person who gave us the gift of faith. Of course, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, but there is always someone who was the bearing of the Word and gave us the gift of faith.
