For years, people have taken note of the great work Bono, lead singer of U2, has done, particularly for AIDS sufferers in Africa. People suspected there was some kind of religious motive or background and looked at Bono’s lyrics for hints. Recent reports have indicated Bono is a believer. He talked about Jesus in a recent interview, saying, “When people say, ‘Good teacher,’ ‘Prophet,’ ‘Really nice guy,’…this is not how Jesus thought of Himself. So, you’re left with a challenge in that, which is: Either Jesus was who He said he was or a complete and utter nut case; and I believe Jesus was…the Son of God.”
