The great preacher, Philips Brooks, perhaps is best known for writing the beloved Christmas song, “O Little Town of Bethlehem.” Brooks also had something to say about Easter. He once wrote an Easter song that includes these words:

Tomb, thou shalt not hold Him longer;
Death is strong, but Life is stronger;
Stronger than the dark, the light;
Stronger than the wrong, the right…
