The Jamaican Click Beetle is an insect that illuminates much as a lightning bug does. In fact, it is brighter than a lightning bug. For many years, collections of these beetles were used to provide light for homes of people in the Caribbean. I guess if enough little lights get together, it makes a huge difference. Individual Christians think they don’t make much of a difference, but together they can. That’s why we sing, “This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine.”
