Many famous movies and stories involve the notion of time travel. Each of these stories deals with the possibility of going back in time to do something that would change the future. Some see this as a paradox that proves time travel in this manner could not exist. We often engage in time travel of a different sort. We go back and revisit our sins and mistakes repeatedly, as if revisiting them will change them, only to discover that whether big or small, we cannot change them. We cannot change the past. The only thing we can do is repent of our past mistakes and learn from them. What we learn will help us in the present, which in turn will help us create a better future.
