The Villa Madonna Academy in Villa Hills, Ky., recently began a program to restore its chapel. Students first used the chapel in 1907. More than 70 years ago, a graduating student penned this poem:
The gray-hued grotto filled with shadowy peace,
A place of prayer where troubles cease
The chapel high with its open door
Where thoughts grow calm and spirits soar.
The place of prayer, wherever it is, can be a place where thoughts grow calm and spirits soar.
