Chyler Leigh has had success as an actor in Hollywood. Most recently, she has been seen as the secret agent, foster sister of Supergirl in the new TV series of the same name. During her early acting years, she suffered from severe drug addiction of several substances. After being told she did not look healthy, she and her husband accepted an invitation to go to church. She describes herself as feeling broken.
She credits God and the church with helping her break her addictions. She is now a Christian and active in her church. She told a reporter, “We went through about two years of complete obliteration. It came down to, “Do you want to choose to live, or do you want to choose to die? We chose life.”
