In a recent Dilbert comic, the main character says to the boss, “I am concerned that my personal goals do not align with our corporate strategy. For example, I would like to be happy. What does the company want?” The boss replies, “Well, nothing along those lines.” Most people aren’t concerned about your happiness. It must come from above or within.
