Who knows what this is?
That's right — it's a candle. I'll best most of us have candles around our houses. When do we use them? Yes, for birthday cakes, or when the electricity goes out, or sometimes when Mommy wants the family to have a real nice dinner.
Why isn't there a flame on top of this candle? That's right — it has to be lit.
Our lives are a little like candles. We're ready to shine brightly, but we need to have someone light us up with power and strength. And that's what Jesus does when He comes into our lives.
